Here's to you Mr. Robinson!

Mr. Ken Robinson's talk about the lack of creativity in our schools was interesting. Its sad to think of our schools pushing kids to think of art as not being of much importance. I believe it is very important for a child to explore their creativity. A child can be the next William Shakespeare just as easy as they could become the next Billi Gates all a child need is encouragement to be creative.
Mr Robinson explains at one point that teachers tell students how hard it is to become an actor or a musician so it discourages them. It only makes me wonder how far away are we going to push kids away from trying to get a job that would actually make them happy. I think art is one of the most important subject, it allows us to be unique. Without art our world would not be the same.
